Egress Window Experts

As a busy person, I don't typically write reviews unless I feel that it's an absolute must.
When I reached out to Egress Window Experts, I'd already had a few contractors over for a quote, and some outright refused to try and replace the original builder-installed basement windows which had the foundation concrete poured over them after they were installed, while others wanted to dig excessively large window wells way beyond the setback requirements for egress, solely for the purpose of their own convenience, - which would then leave an unsightly one-foot gap between the new metal wells and my existing exposed aggregate patio. Feeling totally frustrated by all those visits, I finally reached out to Egress Window Experts - purely as a poke in the sky.
A visit got scheduled and Kostya stopped by in a few days when he was in the area, and right from the start it felt like a breath of fresh air, with him immediately putting all of my concerns to rest, explaining everything in great detail and having a solid answer to every question I had. I could instantly tell that he knew every single nuance of these installations, and to me that was clear evidence that these guys had already seen and dealt with it all a thousand times over, and then some. Kostya offered a couple different options for window types, and within 15 minutes I had a written estimate which was clear and detailed. The timeline and process were also explained and the overall experience at that point was already above my expectations. A couple weeks later I had my basement permit ready and reached out to Kostya to give the go-ahead and process a deposit (which, by the way, was extremely reasonable!).
Fast forward one month: I already have the windows installed and honestly can't say enough good words about the installation crew. They arrived on time and got straight to work after covering the interior floors where they'd need to walk. But it was seeing how those guys worked that made me confident in their multi-year expertise cutting out concrete, installing window wells and windows themselves. The team worked restlessly, and the entire project was completed in under 5 hours - which almost felt surreal given the scope. After which the crew cleaned up the area both outside and indoors, washing off all the residue from the concrete cutting, and leaving the area in sparkling condition.
"But what about the overall quality of installation?" - you'd ask.
Let me tell you that being both an engineer and a very skilled DIY-er makes me quite picky! And folks, I have to say that the end result exhibits a level of craftsmanship that is really hard to come by these days.
I will most definitely be recommending the services of this company to everyone who ever mentions looking to get egress windows installed.
