Heritage Design

We retained the services of Heritage Design through the referral of our neighbours as we saw that they did a good job with their deck. Although there was a long waitlist with Heritage for building our deck, we think it was totally worth the wait. (Other neighbours who got decks before us had issues with their contractors either not finishing the job in a timely fashion, or had decks built that weren't quite to code....). They finished the job efficiently, everything was done as requested. For example, due to our long flight of stairs, we noticed that they bounced a lot - we indicated this to Heritage and they made no qualms to come back and rectify the issue within a reasonable time frame.

The only minor "hiccup" came a year later, when one of our neighbours noticed one of the supports looked significantly bowed (which we understand wood can naturally warp and bend). After stopping by to take a quick look, Steve was also rather surprised that the wood bowed that much, and didn't hesitate to let us know that Heritage will replace the bowed support. It was VERY refreshing to see a contractor who will take a client's perspective and treat the project as if it were his own deck. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is definitely on point, and we would definitely retain Heritage's services again for our next deck/patio/fence project. I will make sure to post an update after the replacement support is in! :)
