Bait and switch

Brampton

Hired this company to redo a kitchen in a 1400 sq ft back split. Kitchen was designed by Narges. Narges and Hamid came to the house to take measurements for about 5 minutes. From the measurements, the kitchen was designed and I signed the contract. Hamid assured me that they would sit with me to design the kitchen I wanted. Their drawing was designed completely from this 5 minute visit. When it came time to select what I wanted and where, the contract changed. Every little change was more money. I asked for an island, what was designed was a peninsula. The $60,000 did not include many things. When I went to make the selection as per their request, what I was selecting was the cabinet doors and backsplash, not what would go where and why. When I questioned it, Narges got defensive. I thought it was best to go our separate ways. I expected for $60,000 to have MY kitchen not a kitchen for Narges. Now they refuse to return my deposit of $6000!

Full main floor and kitchen renovation

Kitchen Planning & Renovation review in Mississauga

Narges at Kitchen & Bath designed our dream kitchen and the entire main floor. The renovation included breaking down two walls, one of which was load-bearing. Mikes team did an exceptional job of bringing the design to reality. The open concept main floor looks stunning, and the kitchen is truly a designer kitchen from a magazine. The workmanship was of very high quality, and every trade worked diligently so that we were able to celebrate a milestone birthday party. Everyone who came home for the party was in awe. Thank you, Mike and team!

Many thanks to Mike S. for being an excellent project manager. His communication style along with his willingness to share his wealth of knowledge and professional opinions on our kitchen renovation project was very much appreciated. Mike coordinated all the other contractors (who were very skilled efficient) and was in constant communication with us for the duration of the project. As a result our kitchen was finished ahead of schedule and we very happy with
the results.

Showstopper

From the get go, the team was transparent about the process and costs. The kitchen transformation is a showstopper modern and way cooler than I'd imagined. The bathroom, on the other hand, feels like a spa retreat. Sure, there were a couple of hiccups along the way, but that's the reality of renovations. The true measure of a good contractor is how they handle challenges, and Kitchen & Bath solved problems like champs, and never left us feeling stranded. If you're looking for a hassle-free renovation, give them a shout.

Mike did a great job and delivered an entirely new kitchen, along with some electrical work. He didn't overcharge for things he could have easily ripped me off. He was also accomodating with minor details that were missed during initial planning.
