Was going out of town for an extended time so I had these guys come in to see the scope of work and show the crew (including Owner), what I needed done. I added detaching the lawn and aeration as my spouse had just had a procedure done so didnt want her raking and clearing the lawn. The communication was shockingly poor. Even the employees recognized this. To the point where we allocated time and a whole day out of our work schedules to be present only for the employee to do only an hour of work and postpone without telling us what was going on. The manager literally told me his time was more important than ours. needless to say the sprinkler never got repaired, they showed up at 9am on a Saturday ( as scheduled), didn't call prior, didn't call when they got there, didn't ring the bell and only left a note at the front door and left. the only thing that was 'completed' was the lawn aeration and de-thatching, which had to be redone by my spouse despite her difficulty (we have pictures of the yard waste bin overflowing to prove it).
I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, because I understand miscommunication happens, but when it happens repeatedly even after having a discussion over and over again....There's no excuse.
Will never hire these guys again, and I wouldn't recommend them either. You know how terrible things are when the employees are themselves frustrated.
