Lifting and relaying my stone sidewalk
Ayman provided a verbal quote of $4,000 to $5,000 and now wants $8,000 for 37 hours of work. The only materials he supplied was some sand, parging and caulking. The original stone was reused. Ayman indicates that I said the job was worth $7,500. That is not true. I have yet to receive an invoice.

Thanks for your review.
When I gave you this quote months ago I gave you an estimate saying it would be “over $5000”. While actually working on your property I found there to be extra work needing to be done outside of that which we agreed on. I explicitly asked you if I should do it, and told you that it would raise the charge. You responded to this by saying “do whatever it takes” as well as “do it as if it were your own home”.Perhaps a better response would have been for you to explain that your budget was tight. At which point I would have gladly worked with you to determine if our company was the right fit for your needs, and find alternative solutions.
Upon completion of the job I asked you (out of courtesy) what you thought a fair price would be and you said $7500.
As of the posting of this response, you have yet to pay even $5000 despite the work being completed.
