Then their contactor Ali agreed to do the job and cancelled last minute.

**Hi Joseph,**
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we appreciate hearing from our clients, I believe some details of the situation may have been overlooked.
To clarify the timeline, on May 28th, I personally visited your home to pick up a sample of your aluminum to ensure an exact match for the windows, and we discussed starting your project on Monday, June 3rd. During our conversation, you expressed concerns about the caulking work done by your aluminum siding installer, which you wanted them to redo before painting. You mentioned you wanted the caulking to dry completely before we began.
We both agreed to start painting on Monday or Tuesday, June 10th or 11th, weather permitting. On June 11th, our rental company delivered the high ladder, and our painter arrived at 8:45 AM as scheduled. When he knocked on your door, you informed him that the aluminum contractor hadn’t arrived yet and the caulking hadn’t been completed.
Since we had agreed upon the start date in person, it would have been your responsibility to inform us if your other contractor had not completed their work, so we could reschedule accordingly before delivering equipment, materials, and sending our painters.
When you requested to reschedule, we explained that we could not absorb the costs associated with the rental ladder or the time and travel expenses of our painter.
So when you didn't accept to cover these costs we did not charge you for all these plus the cost of the custom matched colour paints which we had paid $520 for it too. Instead, we issued a full refund of your deposit and respectfully walked away from the project.
In fact, we could have rescheduled the job and incurred far less of a financial loss than we did by covering all the costs ourselves and refunding your deposit. However, due to the insulting and threatening remarks made during our communication, we felt it was in our best interest to step away from the project entirely, accepting the loss rather than continuing under those circumstances.
We were disappointed to read your review, as it does not fully reflect the situation or the efforts we made to accommodate your needs. Additionally, we found it inappropriate that you attempted to offer our painter payment outside of the company to complete the work on another day. Our team has been loyal to us for many years, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a professional relationship with our staff and clients alike.
We value honesty and fairness in all business interactions, and we hope you consider these values in future reviews.
Sincerely,
Mike
