Our basement project included: new sub-floor, new flooring, new framing and finishes on exterior walls and interior partitions, new spray foam on exterior walls and headers, new electrical, new plumbing, new bethroom (toilet, sink, shower), paint and trim, and lots of built-in storage.

The work went smoothly and quality was good. Patrick and his team always made changes where things didn’t quite meet expectations and there was no haggling over extras within the original scope.

We added several items during the project including a moving the water heater, replacing the house and porch roofs. partial foundation waterproofing, and brick parging. I was comfortable knowing that Faroe was available to manage these various trades and coordinate their timing to mesh with Faroe’s work.

We love the space and are very happy with the work.

We recently purchased a 100+ year old home in Bloorcourt with a main floor that needed a lot of love. The middle of the house was sinking due to improper previous renovations, a load bearing wall needed to be removed and the floors and kitchen were in need of some serious updating. From bid to completion, Patrick and the Faroe team were amazing. Super collaborative, they helped us make the right decisions for our home from day 1. Of course, there were inevitable surprises along the way (surprise knob and tube, a mystery plumbing issue, improper support beams), but Patrick and the team quickly found solutions for all of them, keeping the project moving forward, resulting in something better than we could have ever imagined! We feel lucky to have been connected with Faroe, and will definitely be using them again.

To find a contractor that you can trust, and who communicates well is so refreshing. Not only is Patrick supported by a great team of carpenters, tilers, tapers, etc., but he also has a stable of superb sub contractors to do the plumbing, electrical and HVAC work. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and is great at solving on site issues. Patrick’s office manager, Kevin was also always available, and his weekly updates made us feel at ease regarding the progress of the job.
