Great Wall Masonry

We underwent a house renovation and had to create new venting locations. We wanted to brick up the old vent locations and we knew the exact person for the job! Daniel did some parging, tuck pointing and brick work for the exterior of our house a year earlier and we couldn't trust anyone else but him. Unfortunately, our matching brick is no longer available (not made anymore) but Daniel was extremely patient with us and guided us to choosing the best matched brick. During the process, Daniel wasn't completely pleased with the fact that we would have 3 locations where the bricks wouldn't be a complete match so he decided to do more work than needed and removed a few more bricks from one low traffic location to brick up the other two so that the one side of the house would be seamless. Daniel took care of our house like it was his own and was always patient with all of our requests and questions. If you want someone who would do work above and beyond your expectations WITHOUT you asking, Daniel is the person you want to hire! Brittany (from the main office) was also exceptional at communicating and always followed up with every request. Brittany also never pushes us to pay the full amount until we were completely satisfied. We really can't be happier with Great Wall Masonry.

Because we love to use our gas fireplace regularly, the bricks at the top of our chimney bump out have been deteriorating slowing for the last few years. This year they finally needed replacing. Daniel and Gregory worked hard to chisel out the old bricks and replace them.

The original bricks of our house are no longer available. The exact matching color, size and texture were a impossible to acquire. Daniel did a great job providing the best options for our purposes. The masonry work is great and the ability to replace the very top of the chimney bump out with limestone slabs provides us with a more durable solution than the original one which consisted totally of bricks. Honestly, Daniel & Greg really went out of their way to help me out.
They fully rebuilt my brick chimney at the most reasonable price I could find. The patio work they did to my deteriorating porch was excellent (other masons did not want to touch this) It was a raised porch over a cold room which had water getting in.

These guys really take pride in what they do. Often showing up after hours to to ensure everything was adequate.

Highly recommend.

They repaired a very degraded side of my house, patched a hole from an old exhaust and installed a intel over a window. They were very communicative and totally invested in making sure it was a spectacular job through a through. They went totally over and above using extra mortar to patch some parts outside of the scope. I am excited to work with them again next summer on the some other parts of the house!

This was the second time we had "Great Wall Masonry" do work on the house. The first time was last summer to fix a large crack over the garage and do a little parging. This summer was to finish parging on the other three sides of the house. Danial came and reviewed the work and we recieved a quotation that was very competitive. The day Danial and his colleague arrived they tapped and prepped the area, fixed a broken brick and, completed all of the parging....a super clean job. Danial returned the folloing day to inspect the work, one quicj touch up and all was done. Its great working with Danial, a professional, and cleaning up the site. Highly Recommended.
