His & Hers Tree Service

I have four 25 year old fruit trees that had grown out of control and which needed to be trimmed back badly.

I stumbled on the Home Stars website and started to read the reviews for McDonald Forestry. I sent an email and a phone call was returned same day and an appointment made for the following day for a quote.

I was impressed with the knowledge that Steven had about the trees and especially about his awareness of the local municipal by laws for the trees. We discussed what I wanted and he said he would send me a quote that evening.

I was disappointed in the fact that I had to email him 36 hours later asking if he had sent the quote and I had missed it. I guess I should have been more patient but I was anxious about the job to be done. The quote appeared in moments and was dated earlier so am not sure exactly what happened.

In any event, we booked for a couple of working days later and I am very satisfied with the job. Thanks to Tyler for doing such a good job of cutting the trees down to the 6 to 7 ft range from about 25 to 30 ft and for shaping them so well. I understand that you have expertise working in orchards which was evident by the way you kept walking around the trees to shape them. Also, thanks for making sure no branches were hanging over the adjoining 3 neighbour’s fences.

A special thanks to the whole team for the great clean up job. There wasn’t a twig left on the property. I would recommend this company for their knowledge, efficiency , professionalism and overall good customer service.
