Shane built 2 walls using original 1920s yellow brick and tinted mortar to match my existing home and he also removed and replaced damaged bricks at the bottom of a pillar free of charge.
Shane demonstrated extensive knowledge of his craft including different styles of masonry and mortar application, and he specializes in restoration masonry and is equally at home in modern masonry construction and flagstone work.
He has an agreeable demeanour and even relocated his work space to accommodate a neighbour at his own initiative.
He charges reasonable rates and the care and quality of his work is evident in the finished product. Even better, apart from my beautiful new walls, I cannot tell that any work was done on my property because he cleaned up so beautifully before leaving.
I would not hesitate to recommend him for any masonry work and I will certainly employ his services again in the future should the opportunity arise.
