I think it was Mike Holmes who once said that 65% of contractors are well meaning but incompetent, 20% are outright dishonest , and 15% are professional, competent and honest and get it done right the first time.
Taurus Exteriors falls into the latter 15% category.
What a pleasure to deal with! Here is why:
1) Prompt, detailed and fair quote proved
2) Accommodated customer's schedule for start /work dates
3) Prep: made sure customer knew the driveway would be blocked, so ensured car was moved beforehand to minimize inconvenience
4) All workers (Rocco, Feron, Tao) and especially proprietor Taylor, were very personable, professional, friendly, hard working, honest, dedicated, caring and intelligent.
5) Efficiency: roof completed in two days. comparable sized houses in my neighbourhood have taken three days usually.
6) Communications: provided ongoing helpful technical information, both in writing and in person
7) Cleanup: cleaned both my and my neighbour's property of debris, as well as gutters, when done
In terms of aesthetics, the roof looks beautiful now and has much improved. We are very happy and the price was reasonable. For roofs, the ultimate test is to see how it holds up over time, but I am confident this will be the last roof replacement, at least, for our current house!
