I wanted to have my concrete driveway resurfaced because it is aged and spalling. I considered various options, including concrete and rubber. I tried to read up on articles on the internet to help determine the best option for my driveway, but was still uncertain. I contacted Wade, from Concrete Replacement Experts, to get a quote for concrete resurfacing. Wade was kind enough to not only message me his thoughts on this, but called to fully explain the mechanics involved in resurfacing using different options. He was able to help me determine my best option and in doing so, he helped me save money and a lot of frustration and regret in the future. Thank you Wade.

Yes there's a lot of bandaid solutions out there that ultimately cost home owners a lot more money in the long run.
If your driveway is spalling already then anything you stick to it is going to come off with the next piece of concrete that flakes off = the spalling ....
Once the concrete starts this there's no end to it. Rubber driveway guys frequently say they grind it down but it doesn't get rid of the cancer that causes the spalling which is like rust or mould. If you miss a little it'll keep causing issues. With concrete it's too late, you can't just grind off the problem.
When it starts spalling again each concrete flake will feel like popcorn in the shredded rubber driveway they tried to stick to the old one.
And every crack in the concrete will eventually transmit through whatever you stick on top of it. Uneven and cracked concrete continually moves and so the cracks move causing the thing stuck to it to move and crack.
So we don't do "resurfacing" as the person writing this review said, she meant "replacing" ie REPLACEMENT EXPERTS INC
Good luck with your future build project.
Cheers
