I was searching homestars for a contractor to make interlocking at the front of my house. It was Fall, and I had trouble finding a contractor to complete it before the winter. Bishara Construction was available, so I picked them.

The contractor who showed up is named "Rawi" and it seems he is the only one in this company. He came to look at the property and give a price. I showed him what I wanted and gave him a layout with dimensions. He started yelling at me saying "why are you giving me exact measurements!? Are you an engineer? Huh? Are you an engineer!?"

I am, in fact, an Electrical Engineer. I did not disclose this, to prevent him from overcharging me.

After a lot of arguing and condescending yelling at me in front of my house, we arrived at some compromise to get roughly what I wanted. Luckily this was just a property I was renting out, otherwise I would have cared more about getting what I want. Unbelieveable that he yells at his customers and refuses to do the work he was hired for as the customer wants.

If it wasn't for the fact that I needed to get this done before the winter, I NEVER would have hired him.

Fast forward into the Spring and Summer. I had weeds growing up from under the interlocking, and a sink hole opened up on one side. I had to call another contractor to fix it. This new contractor, told me that whoever did it didn't put a tarp underneath the interlocking to prevent weeds from growing up in between the stones. He also informed me that if it had been done properly, a sink hole would not have appeared.

I can not express my disgust with this contractor enough. I am appalled by his treatment of customers, the fact that he shames people for giving him a layout of how they want the project done, and even after doing it his own way, he doesn't do the job properly.

Furthermore I was told I was overcharged for the work that was done by other homeowners who also had interlocking.
