I learned that you have to be careful with the tp-link brand, you save money, but you get what you pay for. For example, so Kunsten suggested a different brand: the wifi extender I had only works on the same electrical circuit which doesn't make sense if what you are trying to do is reach another part of the house which you can bet won't be on the same circuit. Bad tp-link design, you save money, but then this flaw makes them garbage.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad to help you. TP-Link has good products, In our field of service we find extenders of any sort don't really work. In your case powerline adapters were used and they were on a different circuit. There are few other options in technology but nothing beats the wired network (CAT6).
