Brandon said he knew how to paint and plaster. He arrived over 3 hours late bec he couldn’t find any stores that were open on Labour Day. He didn’t have any drop cloths or basic tools. I asked him to remove the electrical plates and to use a vacuum when sanding but he didn’t. He asked for a $200 deposit and I stupidly gave him $500 in good faith. He was late again and I told him not to come back after looking at his work more closely in daylight. He even thought it was ok to use my Benjamin Moore CEILING paint on the baseboards to try to cover up all his messy painting even tho I had painted all the stringers and baseboards with the proper Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. He he refused to return my money and kept all $500 and my house key he sad the deposit was non refundable even tho I paid him more than he had asked for!!! Do not hire him!!! The pictures below say everything. He thinks his work is top notch.
