Venetian Plastering over old stipple walls and ceiing and painting
This was a major endeavour and a new challenge for Chromatist.
It took a lot of experimenting and trial and error to get it right and they were on board for doing everything necessary to make us happy.
We are extremely happy with the work they did.
Postscript - two years later and the paint job is not holding up. We painted over wood on our fireplace and recently re-did the stone on the fireplace. Painters tape was used to protect the paint and when it was taken off, the entire paint around the fireplace peeled off as they clearly did not prime the wood. Very disappointing that only two years later the cracks are showing badly.
