I had a job to tile the floor on 3 bathrooms and tile a shower wall and a bath wall. He came the first day and started the job and sent other people to complete the work. He turned up the final day and a half to finish the bath wall and collect his money although he initially said he would do the whole job. Issues with the job:
Some smooth tiles, meant for the wall, was mixed with the matte tiles on the floor. He did not fix it.
The grout done by his son was inconsistent. He didn't fix it.
He covered over the outlet for the shower head in the bath. Said he because was tired as he was working on a couple of other jobs at the same time. He had to break the tile to fix causing me to incur unnecessary expense for more tile.
He did not put a transition between the tile and the floor next to it. Furthermore, the tile at the bathroom entrance was sticking up creating a safety hazard. He did not fix it.
He left the side of the bath entrance opening unfinished.
He washed the tile dust on my expensive stone driveway leaving a lot of white stains on my driveway and city sidewalk. I tried to clean it but some is still there.
He left 3 bags of broken tiles and other garbage in my garage which he was supposed to dispose of.
When I called him to come back and correct these problems, he said okay but never turned up. When I made a follow up call, he blocked my number and I have never been able to contact him since
