Originally, I was looking into getting a mid-range shingle roof (architectural) due to the high winds and the relentless weather that my house endures on a regular basis. I was tired of having to replace shingles after every large storm. Paying slightly more so the roof/my home is taken care of (future proofing) for 50 years for a metal roof vs 3x15 years (for the regular roof replacement) is a no-brainer. And with Kevin being a P. Eng., I knew that his education and experience level would mean my roof would be done at a professional standard.

Now with every project, there are always potential hiccups. I just happened to have my new window installation booked just after the metal roof was to be completed. Once Kevin learned of this, he had the foresight to know that there was a potential for the window installer to damage the roof when they removed and installed the windows. I appreciate Kevin's recommendation and willingness to pause the roof installation (over a month) to allow for the windows to be installed and my new roof from being potentially damaged. Once the window installation was completed, he completed the roof within a couple of days without fuss. The way I see it, it's better to avoid a potential problem rather than leave it up to chance and then deal with it later.
