I believed the 10/10 rating for Arieli movers and decided to hire them. I am not sure if Arieli deleted negative reviews, frankly, I am surprised at the rating. The movers were a full 1 hour and 15 minutes late. I called the owner/manager multiple times and didn't even get an apology. I had to move a lot of things myself because they were so late. Not only did I not receive an apology, but the owner/manager made it seem like it was my fault for not booking an entire day to move when I only had the contents of a bedroom/very small apartment to move. In the end, the move only took 2 hours, but I did a lot of the work. Had the movers not been so late, we would have been fine.
I've hired friends, random people from kijiji/craigslist/facebook, and other moving companies to move and I've NEVER had movers be so late. This is a disgrace to the moving industry. Do NOT book these movers.

According to our email correspondence, your booking arrival due time was 9am. The moving agreement has the start time for 9:25am. Given the circumstances that movers have to face local traffic and also localize your unit, I would probably consider the delay acceptable.
As per your review confirms, the movers relocated your 1 bedroom apartment without damage including assembly/ dismantling and within 2 hours from Etobicoke to downtown Toronto.
Your insinuation that business listings; and in this case us, can remove bad reviews on HomeStars is another false claim. Please contact HomeStars to learn more about their policy on the topic.
I am not going to continue with how you treated the movers even though the work was completed professionally.
I definitely believe we earned more than 2 stars.
