After a first great experience with Vic (see my prior review), I am sorry to say our second one was horrible.

We moved to a new house that had ethernet cables built in, and hired him to install electrical outlets in our basement, activate our Ethernet ports and install strip lighting underneath our kitchen cabinets.

His initial visit was in August 2020. He installed the outlets without issue. He noted he did have the right drivers for the lighting so would need to come back another day, which was acceptable. However, he did not finish the internet work, only installing about half of the ports, as he could not find the other wires, and also saying he had to leave to be at another job later that night. We had the electrician who worked on the house come in, and found the other wires hidden behind insulation, behind a Rogers faceplate, and behind the air vent. I am no electrician, but I thought these were not too hard to find for the other electrician.

He requested partial payment despite the job not being finished. It should be noted that we paid him for the electrical/internet work portion, even though it was not completed.

We contacted him in 2021 to finish the work, but several times were met with delays and extremely poor communication.

The first time he promised to come, he called us to cancel on the day of the job, calling us to let us know he did not receive the parts for the strip lighting, saying there was a back order. While this is understandable, I would think it be better to ensure the parts are received before committing to a date.

Also, in early April, he was supposed to come on a Saturday, but he did not show up or call us or respond to multiple calls to his business number. The next day, he emailed me and a few other people saying that his team had to enter COVID lockdown due to a contact as of the prior Thursday. It would have been helpful if he told us this before instead of leaving us in the dark.

Then, we scheduled a time for him to come this past Saturday June 19th, booking it over 1 week in advance. He emailed me that morning saying that his "guy" couldn't come but that he would try to be there himself. He did not respond to multiple calls after that, only calling me at 8pm saying he had a busy day, but couldn't make it to our place. Only then did he clarify that this "guy" was the one who did the internet and that there was no point for him to come without him. First of all, before confirming the time, he should have confirmed whether the right people could come with him, and secondly, his email on the morning didn't explain that this "guy" was essential to installing our ethernet. So again we were left waiting and wondering.

Our final contact with him was today (June 22). I had called Vic several times the day before to confirm, but did not get any reply. He did text me at 9am today, saying his team member was on his way and would contact us, who never did. Vic's last message to us was at 10:30am when he said he would call me back after his meeting was done. He did not respond to multiple texts and calls afterwards. I gave up trying to reach him at 1pm.

I have had to book time off from work four days in 2021 to wait for him. I will not be booking off a fifth.

We are very frustrated and disappointed with the lack of follow-up, and would definitely not hire Vic again nor recommend him to our family and friends.

I hired Blue Electric to install a bathroom fan in my older house which did not have an exhaust fan. They supplied the fan, did the electrical and duct work and installed the fan. They also mentioned that I have an openening in the attic ventilation that could lead to rodents coming in and move the mesh to fix it.
I'd hire them again for other electrical work.

Professional, qualified and reliable. Delivered and was honest from the get go. He was booked up, but he went out of his way to fit me into his busy schedule. I have added Vic to my contact list, and will definitely be using his services going forward.

I'm a new homeowner, which is unfortunate because I've now been spoiled for hiring contractors - after working with Vic, anything less than "above-and-beyond" service will be disappointing.

I hired Vic to replace a distribution panel and to install exhaust fans in two bathrooms. He immediately suggested a slight change in panel location that would make it safer, and was also very willing to make a last-minute addition to the work. When there wasn't room in the ceiling for one of the exhaust fans, Vic warned me that he probably wouldn't be able to do it... and then managed to do it anyway. Despite the unexpected hurdle, the final price was exactly as quoted.

I will recommend Vic without hesitation to anyone needing electrical work done.

Vic is a Master Electrician and a true pro. Prompt and courteous communication, he arrived the next day at the planned time. Friendly and polite, he asked questions and made several checks at the electrical panel, the ground, and at the light switch to diagnose quickly and solve the problem. Vic was happy to make some suggestions for more energy efficiency lighting in our kitchen. Thank you.

Hired Vic through Homestars to upgrade our existing breaker panels to 200A and to install a car charger in the garage.

Vic and his co-worker from Blue Electrical Inc. showed up on time and completed the work ahead of schedule for the quoted price.

They answered all the questions we had during the installation process and took care of everything to our satisfaction.

Before leaving our property, they ensured all was working well and that the work site was cleaned up.

I will definitely hire Vic again for our future electrical projects.

From start to finish Vic explained all details & procedures , as to cost , installation etc . Vic & his crew arrived on time & carried out the replacement of the panel in a very professional manner ,so respectful to me & my wife, in fact Vic did another small job for me at no cost! The members of his crew were so efficient & pleasant, nothing was any trouble to them. In summation I have a high opinion of the company& would not hesitate to use their services again& recommend Vic to friends

Vince was a pleasure to deal with. Casual but very professional in his approach when dealing with our quote. I had asked for a quote to instalL 2 new lines and at the last minute a ceiling fan install.

Vince brought along Sammy to complete the work. They were very respectful of our home and our situation regarding working from home. They answered all my questions and they kept me informed at the different stages of the installs. Once they completed the project they took a few minutes to adjust my most current DIY project. We are happy with the work that was done and are planning for Blue Electric to come back in the new year for a few more projects. Thank you Vic, we’ll see you again.

Vic did a fantastic job on the electrical panel upgrade. He stayed in touch with us while we waited for a date from Hydro 1 to do the job and came in on the day off and was efficient, courteous and professional. He even helped my partner set up some electrical sockets that he was working on as a courtesy. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if I have any electrical needs in the house.

Vic and his team were ahhh.maazing!! Courteous, Polite, Punctual, Friendly and Understanding. Vic explained all aspects of the work to me., along with the costs which was reasonable.

They also cleaned up after the job was completed, and they were clean, smelled nice, and very respectful to which I was impressed, and pleased. The worst part in my opinion in being a homeowner is having contractors in your home with body odors. With Vic and his team, you will be pleased in all aspects of their work, and personal hygiene.
