Hired Bill to repair and paint 25 fibreglass colonial pillars on my porch.Bill gave me a quote we agreed on a price plus I pay him for the paint on top .Bill started in a Saturday by himself worked a partial day .I had give him a $100 deposit previous to this to secure him and that day $60 for the paint.Bill came back a day or so later with a worker yet again not a full days work.As he was leaving I texted him to ask him if all the pudding was done he said yes so I said I need to see you.He came back from his vehicle and we inspect every pillar as I had found several defects in his work.we marked them all and he said they would be repaired.When they returned several days later they did much more pudding and painting .Upon inspecting just a couple pillars I have to say I was more then annoyed this pillars had their final coat of paint on them and they were a mess.I called him to the back of the porch to speak with him he agreed that they were not repaired properly and blamed it all on his worker.Told him I hired him not his worker after ripping him a new one he told me for an extra $150 they would be done right I said are you serious you quoted me a price I asked you to repair and paint you gave me a price I asked for no discount now you want another $150.So not being a un fare person I said ok as long as they are done properly.He told me he would be back Saturday but canceled on me till Monday at 9 I agreed then he changed the time to 11 I sad ok at 1 pm told me he had heat stroke from Sunday and reschedule this was Monday told him I wanted job finished before the weekend as this was going into the second week he told me np yet to hear back from him.Also must mention a few days into the job after I already gave him $160 he said to me do you have some cash I sad for what he said for me so I can get some gas and a burger left my bank card at home .So he got $220 from me and never had the courtesy to call or finish the job nothing but a waste of my time and I felt like a babysitter absolutely not a professional person at all
