Scott from Lumos was great to deal with from the initial quote to final payment. We have a 25 year old home that required updating. Scott proposed great lighting suggestions including 8 LED pot lights in kitchen, a new stainless steel range hood, improved lighting in the family room and hallways. We also added a new modern staircase chandelier. Finally he added a separate 40 amp fuse box to our existing box to accommodate an indoor Finnish sauna. What separated Lumos from their competition was the sincere interest in gaining our business plus ensuring we were totally satisfied. It was great that they partnered with excellent gyprockers and painters. Everything was completed in only 2 days with very little disruption.

We called Scott to assemble & install two heavy crystal chandeliers.
Carpets were installed on floors before any work was done. The largest chandelier, weighing 68 lbs, and mounted on a ceiling 17 ' up, needed special in attic bracket to hold the weight. Scott & Mathiew, on high ladders, attached the chandelier and then carefully attached the 120 crystals to it. Blair, in attic, adjusted attic cables to ensure level chandelier.
The second 28 lb. chandelier in dining room had to have special "L" bracket attachment added to heavy duty electric box to reinforce weight handling.
Scott had to be creative in how he had to reinforce electric boxes for both fixtures to handle the weight factors... and he certainly was. Neither job were "easy". Scott came through with flying colours !

Needed overhead lighting/ceiling fans in bedrooms. Scott offered suggestions on pot lights for hallway, showers, closets and updating smoke detectors, which we took his advice on. They look great.
