Reg did a great job replacing our old wood door with a nice looking triple layer insulated door. He was honest, professional and friendly!

Our old door was on its last leg. Reg came with a very reasonable quote and with no nonsense showed us our door options. Transparent and honest process.

Great service. Reg (the owner) was punctual, professional and detail-oriented. He ensured the garage door was installed properly (the fit and seal) and showed me how everything worked. There's no hidden cost, what he quoted me is what the project ended up to be. It included supply, installation, removal and disposal.

After work in the evening, I heard a loud crack from my garage and thought someone had hit the garage door. No damage to the panel but door opener was unable to open the garage. Tried to lift the door by unlocking the panel from the garage door opener but was too heavy. No way to get both our vehicles out of the garage. Immediately Googled for highly recommended garage door companies (Homestars rating) and reviews and found Aladdin Garage Doors. Called and spoke to Reg (owner and operator) who was able to diagnose a broken torsion spring immediately over the phone based on the information I provided. He
gave me an estimate of the repair cost and the approximate time to fix.
He told me to not try to lift the garage door due to suspected broken spring, it would cause damage to the system. Since it was late in the evening and there were no security issues (ie garage door was down), he scheduled to see me first call in the morning. I found out the next day that he had 5 jobs lined up but he prioritized mine because he was concerned that garage door broken springs and cables present a serious safety issue. Reg was very professional and thorough in his repair. He arrived promptly and confirmed the problem of a broken spring. He reviewed repair options and recommended to stay with the regular torsion spring replacement instead of trying to upsell a costlier product (e.g high cycle springs) as he felt that the increased cost would not be
necessary. Reg had all the necessary parts in his truck and replaced both
springs for the garage door (as 1 was broken the other is high risk for breaking too) within his estimated time frame and cost. I found Reg to be extremely knowledgeable about garage doors and very professional and thoughtful for the customer. He also included a tuneup (no extra charge) which included lubricating each of the rollers and examining the other garage door components (cables, panel, tracks, etc) to ensure proper functioning and safety. Since I had such a great experience I wanted others to know in case they were looking for a garage door repair company too. I highly recommend Reg and Aladdin Garage Doors.
