Ice maker in Samsung fridge stopped working. My regular appliance guy told me it could not be fixed. As summer began, we really wanted an ice maker, and I found Yevhen here on Homestars - I wanted an owner - operator because I have had bad experiences with the big companies Samsung recommends.
He came the next day, explained the problem, and offered us options.
We chose the simple solution, which he completed in an hour, and today we have ice!
After we paid him, he told us that if it doesn't work, he is going to refund us, which was completely unnecessary as he told us the risk of it not working and we decided to go ahead.
Moreover, he's a really nice, decent guy that you will feel comfortable having in your home.

We have a 10 year old Blomberg washing machine. The drum stopped spinning. We found Yevhen on Homestars and called several other companies. Finally we decided on him because of all the great reviews.

Yevhen came to our home and assessed the issue. The problem was with the motor. We had to replace it or he could get a repair kit which would be the less expensive option. We waiting for over a week for him to come back as no one in the city had the kit. But he managed to find it and order it in. We were fine to wait. Once he received it he came right away and repaired the motor. Our machine is working great now after doing several loads.

Yevhen is professional, honest, clean, respectful of your space, and overall a likeable person. After he completed the repair I asked him if he would mind looking at my dishwasher which was installed 10 months ago (crookedly). He happily obliged and had all the special tools handy to straighten it out and make it level with the cupboard doors. It took him about 5 minutes. I offered to pay him extra for it but he graciously said it was fine and no need. But I insisted. I was so happy with everything he did.

The next time ANY of our appliances has issues I won’t hesitate to call Yevhen right away. And if I need a new appliance installed I won’t let anyone install it except Yevhen. Anything related to appliances he is your guy!
