Timeless Painting

We hired Five Star Painting , we supplied the Behr Marque one coat. We brought over 3 gallons of paint, and told the painters if you need more let us know. We told them that this
paint goes on thick. They finished June 30/16, leaving us 1 1/2 gallons of paint left. Once the paint dried, you could see stretch marks. I called Dean(manager) he came out to see it for himself, and agreed that it was a very poor job. So July 1st, my wife and I
started at 3:00pm to sand down the walls and wipe them down.
We repainted the whole job, that Five Star had done on June 29th,
Dean told us that he would contact Mason(the owner) and have him call us, well today is July 27, 2016 and have we heard from MASON-NO. This man has no business ethics, when you are told of a problem and you ignore the customer, it irritates the customer to do nothing but bad mouth your so called painters work.
Folks, if you use this company-BEWARE!!! Do not pay them until they have completed the job, and hopefully they won't screw it up.
We have used Five Star previously, but we dealt with Steve, and was very satisfied, the new owner, NOT A BUSINESSMAN

My father and I hired this painting service to assist in the completion of a main floor home renovation. I will say that the contractor and assistant representative were both professional and pleasant to deal with for the most part. However, the hired painters that were a husband and wife behaved very unprofessional and provided subpar service. The plastering/sanding and painting were done in haste and looked absolutely horrible. When we approached the couple regarding the issues over run lines/absent plaster/areas that lacked a second coat, we were told that nothing is perfect and this is normal. Each day that our concerns were brought up their performance steadily dropped. Eventually, on the final day they abruptly left without completing the job. After speaking with the contractors assistant, we were able to settle with a measly 520 dollar return. Hopefully, our negative experience will provide some benefit to those looking for help. My teenager had a graffiti wall in her bedroom that we needed to bring back to a regular wall. Five Star was responsive in getting me a quote during a time that worked for me. The people they had doing the work were friendly and did a great job in the timeline they promised. Clean up was done well. They didn't charge extra for working on the weekend, so I didn't need to take time off work to get the job done. I'll use their services again.

The south-facing exterior (with siding) of our rental house was in terrible shape with patches of peeled painted all over, you could see wooden surface on some of them. As well, it looked like the previous owner had 10 layers painted on top of the original paint. We got at least 5 estimates, the price ranged from $2,000 to over $4,000; one quote consisted of only 2 lines and a $ amount, a couple of them, with things grouped together, were so hard to understand; Five Star’s quote was detailed, yet very easy to understand. Their regional manager, Dean, was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable; he explained to us what should be done and was honest with us why powerwashing alone could not remove the peeled paint. He answered all of our many questions clearly and so cheerfully and he made us feel comfortable while doing so. Dean assured us quality of services and the quote was just under $3,000. We thought, “wow, that’s expensive”. BUT, when we saw the amount of work their crew went through, we felt that the quote was actually low. We were also very impressed with how they did the job just like it was their own property, they waited for the siding and the patched spots to be completely dry (it has been raining just about every other day) before they painted. When we went over to look at the finished job, it was very well done and CLEAN, no mess anywhere … absolutely perfect score job! We are already planning to have them do our next painting job.

I am very happy with the service that Five Star provided. They provided me the quote in the time frame I requested and it was clear. The price they quoted me was a reasonable price and they responded to my queries thoroughly and promptly.  They followed up with my project closely and I am satisfied with their service.

They did a great job repainting my kitchen. Very professional and took great care not to make a mess on anything. They did cost more then other companies but the results speak for themselves.

I would recommended them again.

I had my basement renovated but needed a good painting company to make it look great.

They did such an amazing job Im using them for all my painting now.
