These guys are incredible and I highly recommend them if you want your job done right and on time. I received quotes for a walkway interlock and planter bed from others but based on the recommendations, decided to go with GVL. I couldn’t be happier. Joe was fantastic at not only the quality of work, but also providing recommendations before the project started all the way until plant placement at the end. You will not be disappointed with these guys. Highly meticulous and great with the neighbours. At the end of every day, they cleaned up and couldn’t tell they had been there.

The team and Green Valley are fantastic. Very professional and a good eye for design. I've used them for years and haven't been disappointed. They have fertilized our lawn, beautifully trimmed our hedges and maintained our gardens.

It isn’t often that you meet a “dream” contractor. We feel so fortunate that we were introduced to Joe, Irene and their team at Green Valley Landscaping by a good friend.
Our 45 year old backyard hadn’t been attended to in many years and the grass had gone to weed, and attracted various small animals; the landscaping was much overgrown. Our front porch stonework which was only 5 years old was shifting and grout cracking.
Green Valley were very responsive to our request for a site visit and quote. Joe came and assessed our project very professionally and within days we had a very thorough quote from Irene. With the rainy summer that we were having, we were sure that our project wouldn’t start on time, but several days before the scheduled start date, we received a call that they could begin. We were going out of town for the weekend but were assured that we did not have to be on site. We came home after the weekend to an amazing transformation of our backyard … new sod, beautiful plantings, use of existing large stones, mulching … we had to re-enter the backyard to make sure we were at the same house. Honesty, creativity, hard working, warm and very responsive, we were more than pleased every step of the way. Joe never made us feel that our “smallish” project was any less important than other residential and commercial projects that he was involved with. Follow up to questions about maintenance and in general were done in a timely manner and very helpful. Any

My wife and I are frugal DIYers who don't often shy away from tackling home reno projects. The backyard, however, was another story.

After we had our backyard garage rebuilt, the lawn was in terrible shape, helped not at all by our general aversion to gardening, and our use of the space as a dog toilet. Gross, right? In any event, we decided last year to have the space cleaned up, leveled, and resodded, along with getting some shrubs planted, a rock for the dog to pee on, and a flagstone walkway/path from the driveway to the deck stairs.

We got three quotes from three different companies, and Green Valley Landscaping was the least expensive by a significant margin. They were so cost effective, in fact, that our arborist friend suggested that we approach with caution. Cheapskates that we are, we decided to give them a try, and were rewarded with a quality job, completed on time and on budget. Irene and Paul were friendly and personable and I even got an email from Irene at the start of the winter reminding me to tie up the cedar shrubs to avoid snow damage.

So if you're contemplating getting work done, give these guys a call. Highly recommended.
