Golden Edge Granite and Marble

Where to start. Dec 2021 our quartz kitchen countertops were installed. There were issues at the seams so a technician was sent in the new year, which was acceptable. What has not been acceptable is the quality of the quartz they purchased from LUCENT QUARTZ. A missed drop of water will stain the counter, the quartz counter, the easiest to care for. I wash my counters every single day with a mix of water and a few drops of dawn. But to no avail. Golden Edge asked LUCENT QUARTZ to come to the house to look at the counter and the rep recommended we use METHYL HYDRATE a highly flammable, poisonous liquid to clean the counters with. He left out the MSDS so Ill share just a small portion: Flammable Liquids - Category 2

Im pretty certain no one in my family is interested in having this in the house never mind directly on the counter.

Both companies have washed their hands of the shoddy product they provided and installed.

I am sorry to hear that you are still experiencing the same issue. However, since it has been over a year ago and our technician was on site to demonstrate how to take care and maintain of the surface.

The quality of the surface would now depend on how you maintain and utilize your surface. We offer lifetime limited warranty but it is limited to some points of how the homeowner uses and cares for the surface . Attached please find care and maintenance sheet for your easy reference.

Golden edge has washed their hands and so has their supplier, who frankly only Golden Edge should be dealing with not me, since they are their provider of choice.
I would never use either again willingly. I just want my countertops fixed.

We are very pleased with this product. They came on Thursday for the estimate and measurement. The next Thursday the countertops arrived and were installed within an hour. The fit was perfect and we are extremely satisfied with the tops and their service. The island is marvelous and they even took off their shoes each time they entered the house even though we said it wasn't necessary. We will not need new tops but I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Jordan is a very nice person to work with but our granite counters were not measured correctly. Our island is a disaster. It doesn't fit properly at all. There's a centimetre gap between our wall the quartz, that they tried to hide with a "backsplash" and silicone. It looks really sloppy.
The cut around our sink is completely uneven.

Go with a more reputable supplier. You might save time and money but hopefully you'll get a product that is perfect the first time. Jordan ended up recutting two out of 3 pieces, again completely incorrect. We're hoping for a refund!
