In short, Ben is FANTASTIC.

I do voiceover for a living and wanted to convert the back third of my garage into a home office/recording studio. Anyone who's ever built a professional recording studio before knows that if you want proper sounding proofing, you need to have double walls and ceilings. It was going to be a COMPLICATED build. The existing garage had an A-frame roof and I wanted the finished studio to reflect that shape in order to maximize space/light. I also had windows and skylights in my design - TWO layers of them for sound proofing. Every other contractor I spoke with didn't understand why I needed double walls or why I wanted to have vaulted ceilings and skylights.

Ben had no issues with my design at all. Within a few days, my double-walled studio was framed to my exact specifications (see pics). Ben checked in with me regularly to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted before proceeding with the build. He showed up early every day, and worked FAST! Hes incredibly efficient and his work is top-notch. His framing is strong! Its currently holding TWO layers of 5/8 drywall!. My studio is whisper quiet and I never to worry about the sound of my neighbours lawnmower bleeding into my microphone when Im recording a voiceover. He also cleans up thoroughly after his work is done and leaves the job site looking better than it was when he showed up (the mess you see in the pics of the framing was mine).

Ben does beautiful finishing work as well. I was so pleased with his framing that I had him back to do the flooring and trim work. The interior of my studio looks amazing (see pics)!

And when it came time to build a gate/fence for our backyard, I called Ben again. Once again, he worked with my wife and I to build us a beautiful modern enclosure for our driveway/yard (see pics). We love how it looks and how sturdy it feels. Ben is a true craftsman. I will be calling him for more work in the future!

If you have any painting or drywalling that needs done, I also highly recommend Bens brother-in-law Bardhi who did all the 5/8 dry walling in my studio - heavy work but he made it look easy!
