We got a notice from the city that our water consumption was unusually high. Searched for the reason and found it - the basement toilet was running. My brother has a suite in the basement... but he is deaf, and even with his hearing aid in - the water flow was just not loud enough for him to hear. Lesson learned there! The kitchen drain was clogged which in turned affected the upstairs bathroom drain as well. Called Roto Rooter in the morning and within a couple of hours Mike K. showed up. He was very professional and thorough. Even before looking at the obvious clogged sink he wanted to investigate the drain lines that ran through the basement to see what he was up against. He then brought in his equipment, laid out a protective cover and proceeded to snake the drain. He successfully unclogged the drain after using a longer more powerful snake to get right to the main drain a distance of about 26 feet. Years of abuse and neglect were successfully flushed away and the drains were flowing again. Mike showed great attention to detail not only when clearing the drains but afterwards upon cleanup and the removal of his equipment. He made sure that left the site clean and tidy. Prior to leaving he educated me on the need to perform regular maintenance on the drains throughout the house to avoid a similar scenario. He left behind a jug of Roto-Rooter drain cleaner after applying it to the kitchen sink.

Christopher Clarino was amazing: He came promptly, worked efficiently and was very friendly. He saved our dinner - without him we would have had to cancel it. He restored the water flow, exchanged pipes & and trap that had been installed sloppily, testes everything diligently and gave us good advice on how to take better care of our sink. I highly recommend Roto Rooter in general and Christopher in particular.

my pizza pizza tenant was having problems with his plumbing backing up, a plumber keep coming to snake it and everything was fine for about 5-7 days ,after the 6-7 visit i decided to call roto rooter, they came and discovered the source of the back up and finally cleared the drain once and for all! very pleased with the job they did.
