I am disgusted by San Rufos customer service, and especially how the owner handle a situation. We had our fair share of ups and downs during the 1st year home warranty period as most people do, however; how we were treated at the end was unacceptable. Our rough grade basically got forgotten about after it didnt pass the first inspection. Due to our contract that states they may have up to a year to complete it, I was patient. We waited 2 months after we saw the landscapers doing our rough grade to call and follow up. I emailed twice initially and was completely ignored. When I called I was given inaccurate information. The client services lady stated our rough grade was being resubmitted for inspection but nothing had been done in the past 2 months since it failed. She was very rude and at one point said, I guess you no more than me in a sarcastic tone. My husband called afterwards for further follow up since the information she gave me was conflicting. She hung up on him. When he called back to speak to the owner, she said she wouldnt give out his name. We wrote a negative review as we were frustrated and wanted someone to answer us. The owner reached out after the review and did recognize that we were forgotten about. He had landscapers out the next day but he also threatened us with legal action (slander) for the negative reviews. He stated he had a year to complete rough grade and that date hadnt passed yet. On Sept. 13, 2022 we received our rough grade inspection, three days past his 1 year contract he kept speaking of. Now fall is upon us and we have to try and get grass in before the snow flies but Im sure San Rufo doesnt care what kind of inconvenience it creates a family to have to live in a mud pit for over a year.
