We have been in the business for 25 years and never have we had a worse drywall job. First off, after securing a contract, R.L. took on another job and we saw a guaranteed job of 3 weeks turn into between 6-7. To be honest, it never got done properly and in the end, we ended up fixing the problems ourselves, rather than fight and expect them to do a good job. This cost us extra time money. Our result isn't what a true professional would give you.
Jason, Reg's son brought a crew of inexperienced and under qualified workers that used our house as training. The results include crooked walls, cracks, applying too much mud, lack of sanding in some spots and a total uneven surface in corners and on ceilings. Their idea of a finished result is truly horrific !
In their defense, they did come back several times to attempt to fix the issues, however, when you are incapable of actually doing a good job, the result is the same. My thought, is that they are a jack of all trades and masters of NONE ! We ended up fixing it ourselves as we know what we're doing. We just didn't want to have to. That's why we hired them to do it as we worked on other parts of the house. However, if you are a home owner with no experience in drywall, you'll be left with nothing but disappointment and you will assume the cost of bringing in an actual professional to fix it.
It's not the end of the world, here. Everything can be fixed. It just takes time, and costs money. They bit off far more than they could chew and when push comes to shove - they took ZERO responsibility for doing a really bad job. It's embarrassing. Just look at the pics and see for yourself.
Nothing they can say in the response to this review changes the fact that this was a terrible job that took double the time and left us with nothing but a mess. Just go to someone with good reviews and leave these guys to the mickey mouse jobs - stick to your province !
