Side Yard Renovation, Driveway Extensions, Decorative Concrete
Carter and his team did an absolutely stunning job of a side yard renovation at our home. He helped us refine our design and plan the project and provided a detailed quote within a few days.
The project involved removal of mixed rock and dirt an old gate and a tree. Once excavation was complete, Carter's crew formed driveway extensions, two pads and a curved sidewalk perfectly connecting to our existing patio. The concrete was textured and coloured / antiqued with exposed sides and sealed 2x. Next came the topsoil for the new garden area and the 20mm rundle rock over landscape barrier to finish the maintenance free side yard. Flatlands then installed the finishing touch, a stunning new decorative gate.
Carter is very experienced, knowledgeable and a true craftsman. His crew was on time, respectful and very hard working. They always left the job site neat and tidy and kept us well informed of the schedule and the next step. Quality of the workmanship was as good as I've ever seen. Walking down the sidewalk and through the gate feels like you're at a high end resort.
