I hired Angelo from Homefix to renovate my much needed basement in my rental property. Angelo responded in a timely manner, was very professional, and his cost was competitive with any other quotes I received. He spent time explaining and showing me what needed to be done, and gave me a quote in a timely manner. I was very happy with the finished product, and when I sold the property, the property inspection came back perfect for my home, which tells me that Angelo did a fantastic job with the renovation! I hired HomeFix to gut my bathroom in my rental unit and provide some additional work on the ceiling and walls. Even though Angelo was working with a very old house, he made some amazing improvements, while staying within my budget. He discovered that he could raise my bathroom ceiling by almost 2' and moved some elements around to give some more space in the bathroom. It was a very tight spot with some pre-existing problems. In addition, my previous renter was a smoker and with some extensive research he was able to find a paint that would cover the second hand smoke on the ceiling. Angelo is a perfectionist and was very resourceful when doing the work I required. He transformed my rental unit into my new home.

I hired HomeFix to help me with a basement restoration that had been damaged by a flood. I am in Calgary and needed help immediately as it was a rental property. Angelo from HomeFix promptly showed up at the address and began to look at the damage and make his assessment. Both bedrooms were severely damaged and needed a complete gut job. The finished product was incredible. Angelo came in on time and on budget which was so nice to see. His quality of work and expertise is apparent, and you see it in the pride he takes in his own work. Angelo also documented his progress with pictures at various stages during the repair.
