They cannot manage big jobs. Six months of promises and aggravation
In the summer of 2021 I was given a quote for a tree removal. It was to be completed in November. Fast forward to May and James finally came to take down the large popular. He said he had to come back to finish and asked me for 4/5ths if the money. He promised to come back and finish before my moms tree planting and memorial service. I do not think he ever intended on finishing. There were at least 30 holes left in my yard, 4 projectile sticks sticking out of the ground, limbs left and actual garbage left on my front and back lawns. They made every step of this process difficult for me and now I am left having to cancel my moms celebration of life in my yard. When I told Brayden and James that I would seek compensation for the incomplete job, they said I was threatening them and refused to finish.

Hi there, thank you for the review, we take feedback very seriously here at Perry Rose Landscaping and have done a thorough investigation to the matter. We have also tried to contact you multiple times in the last 2 weeks and you have not returned our calls.
I want to address all of the items you have indicated in the review. When we first originally met back in the late Fall of 2021 we had discussed our procedures for a removal of a tree your size. It was very clearly outlined prior to the start date of the job, which in fact we accelerated and accommodated for you due to the city notice you have received.
1. We requested 4/5ths of the amount of the original quote due to the fact of not wanting to charge you the additional cost of the trunk removal as we have not yet received from you, a written consent to be on your neighbours property with the additional heavy machinery necessary to remove the logs and trunk carefully.
2. Holes in your backyard - Machinery that needs to be used in order to make sure a tree this size lands safely without damaging your home will create some holes in the yard. We have indicated this to you as our customer twice - once in November of 2021 and the second time prior to the start date. Soil and grass seed is all that is needed and was communicated and recommended as part of the after care procedures for your property.
3. Sticks, limbs and garbage - We have a strict policy that the removal of all debris and garbage is to be removed from the customer property at the end of the work day. Our crew has provided us some photo’s that indicate the rear and front yard had been spotless. Sometimes there are small branches that our crew are not able to thoroughly get when raking and cleaning the yard. Again we recommended prior to the start date that raking the yard after completion would likely be necessary. this as part of the after care procedures.
