From start to finish Drago kept my wife and I informed of what needed to be done, how it would be done, and what to expect. He also made recommendations.
All carpet on second floor was removed and replaced with solid maple hardwood floors, including all the closets. We also had to replace the damaged hardwood flooring on main floor in family room and living/dining room. The floors in our home look amazing. Our home looks even better after the restoration than it did before the water damage incident.
The other major restoration involved repairing the ceiling on main floor where the water leaked through above our kitchen area. We have California style ceilings, so they had to redo the entire main floor ceiling.
We were so sad after the flooding happened. Our insurance company sent another company to our home for initial cleanup and we were not impressed with the service, (not returning our calls, promising unrealistic completion times and then dragging out the process). This was happening in November-December. They said the job would only take 4-5 days which was in no way possible, (it was a minimum 7-10 day job). They also said they could not get it done until mid-January. We complained to our insurance company and looked for our own contractor to restore our home.
Luckily we found Drago and his team of professionals. They promised to have us back in our home before Christmas and worked so hard to get it done in time. They delivered on every promise. We are eternally grateful for what they did and truly appreciate the personal touch of Drago genuinely caring about our situation and getting our home back to normal for our family (with 2 young children) at Christmas time. I can't say enough good things about him. Great guy.
We had such a great experience that we have since then been in contact for preliminary planning/quotes on remodeling our ensuite bathroom and finishing our basement. We are very excited to work with Drago again on future home renovations. We have already referred him to 5 other people (family/friends) . Drago and Rainbow International Restoration do it all. Awesome team.
