Real Construction Group

Originally PM was good to deal with in the planning stages, then started going downhill from there. I really don't think they hired the right trades to do my reno. We spent so much on this reno and our shower is still leaking. Then owner came to try to repair it twice and still is leaking.
Took 6 months to get someone to come back as it was still under warranty and then new owner ghosted me after a few phone calls and site visits saying he was going to fix it right this time. Crickets. Nothing from owner and my shower is still leaking. I don't recommend this company.

This company lowballs the initial quote and does not provide adequate details in the initial contract. They then run up the price by adding in change orders for the detailed work. He misquoted a huge portion of the work to get the initial contract. Contractor was never on site to monitor the workers and never showed up at the end to do a site walkthrough / inspection of the work provided.

The main contractor Baz is young, very immature and unprofessional. He did not take any notes regarding discussions with me the homeowner and key information was never passed onto the workers, resulting in delays and mistakes. He then tries to pass of the cost for the corrections to the home owner as change orders. Basement was finished without insulation resulting in it being very cold in the winter. Contract was delayed several times as workers were redirected to other jobs.

I have strongly recommended AGAINST this company for other friends who are looking for renovations.

Overall I am satisfied with the quality and design of work. I had a custom mancave designed over 2+ months. There had been few delays which were mutually discussed and negotiated. Would recommend others to try out their services. Appreciate Baaz and Anwars commitment.

I hired this contracting company after tall claims and running my house to do job. I was very clear on my requirements and put in writing on contract. But oh boy what a sea change after signing contract and day 3 of work and onwards... First Contractor hardly shows up, second when probed on 1-2 areas throws his claim of "Mr Know it all". Then keep shifting dates to cover other multiple projects with limited crew. When complained defends with immature comments and statements which are all recorded over texts and whatsapp.. The only good part is his subcontracting crew of Asian origin which listens. They have spent more time with me on this project than contract manager himself. I am in risk of extending my current lease and differ my move dates just because they cant finish on time. My first choice and recommendation would be to go to someone more professional like Finished Basement.ca. who are more knowledgeable and commit to deliver on time.

Anwar is very professional and expert in his job. Time is very important for me and he was super on time to make this media unit. I highly recommend him to design companies and individuals!

I Hired Real Construction Group to have my Moms house completed so i can move in.
Baz was a highly recomeneded. He installed a brand new beautiful kitchen as well as two beuatiful bathrooms. Real construction group was able to work with my schedule and got a lot acomplished daily.

I've heard many contractor horror stories and so I was very picky when chosing someone to work in my home. Real Construction came very highly recomended and after meeting with them at their beautiful offices in Vaughan I felt extremely comfortable and reassured from the very beginning!

My project included a complete gutting and refinishing of an entire detached 3 story home, including demolition, framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and paint. Shabaz and his team were comsumate professionals throughout the entire journey. I had to delay my start date on very short notice several times and they were more then willing to go out of their way to keep rescheduling for me and when I was finally ready to start they had a full team at my house on 1 days notice. They helped me through many issues that arrose durring the project, were always available day or night, and worked around my schedule. His team never took a day off and they finished exactly on time and on budget. The work was impecable and very clean and the finished product is beautiful and already gotten many compliments and people asking for referrals!

This isnt your average contractor and they approach the job the right way. You can be completely reassured of the product and the people behind the product. They will certainly have my business for life.

Baz and Theo did a great job providing suggestions for the design plan and finishes. They have great taste and are up to date with modern style and trends. Everyone is very personable, friendly and quick to respond to messages. The final project turned out very well. It looks fantastic. I would have given them a 5 star rating however the project took much longer than anticipated and there were a few finishing details that were overlooked at the end. I would encourage a consistent practice of keeping the job site clean each day and protecting finished serfaces throughout the project. The love is always in the details! I would hire them again though because the finished product is great and they are really nice guys to work with.

Replaced cabinets, countertops, backsplash, sink & faucet, paint. Very personal service, friendly, responsive, fair prices, great continuity throughout. Always let us know when they were coming and always came as promised. Responded to special requests promptly. Really helpful assistance with selection of materials and colours. Would definitely use them again!
