We've use Spencer & Sons for a variety of commercial renovations over the years and it's always been a great experience. They are fast, responsive, honest and easy to deal with. They are usually the first contractor I call for any of these types of jobs.

We used this company through our insurance as we had yet another flood.

They are a team of 2 who start very early (7:30am) but work quickly and efficiently. Drywall was installed in a bedroom, kitchen and dining room. They also primed and painted those areas. In addition to that they also resurfaced ceilings in 3 separate areas.

Although the work done was reasonably good, we were not pleased with the lack of protection for our furniture. For example, they covered one sofa with plastic but left another in the same room completely uncovered. They also did not fully close up draped plastic to keep the blown ceiling stucco from creating a mess throughout the house. The end result was some pieces of furniture and other chattels were covered in a white dust. They did protect our floors which was appreciated.

I also walked into the kitchen from another entrance and caught one of the guys looking inside my fridge. That was awkward.

Notwithstanding the above, they did an excellent job with the drywall (seams are seamless for lack of a better word). The painting is good and the ceiling looks fresh and new again. They completed the work in under a week. That was impressive.
