We were referred to Adam via a friend. It was for a demolition and framing job. We are now proceeding with the rest of the renovation. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
Over time, over budget, did not deliver
We contracted Adam for a $120k reno. He advised $147k, 6-9 weeks would be realistic. Fair.
We have just fired Adam... as we are 13 weeks into the project and all that has been completed is framing(almost done), partial electrical and partial plumbing, with no sign of YVR approved permits. He has billed us $70k worth of work, which includes the $10k we already paid for hard wood.
We are walking away from this working relationship having paid out $60k, and will let him return the hardwood to make up the outrageous $10k in ghost fees he has managed to bill us for no work. When we asked for receipts to conduct a full audit, we repeatedly got silence.
Terrible, terrible experience.
Stay away.
