We are so happy with our shed. Spencer was totally professional:
-Met with us to go over design and make sure, before starting, that we were on the same page
-Continued to communicate with us during the build to ensure we were happy with the progress
-Kept to the timeline arranged
-Called when he was not going to be on site as expected (this only happened once during the build and was weather related)
-Site was kept really clean
-His framing and finishing is exact and careful
Spencer is everything you could want in a construction professional. We totally recommend him!

This was the first time we used this contractor. We were beyond pleased. He was respectful, knowledgeable, helpful, and responsible. He was an expert craftsman especially with tiling. We were very pleased with the results of our fully renovated bathroom, additional flooring and trim to our entire upper level. We will use him again and have recommended him to many others.

One94 did a major 2 story renovation including 2 bathrooms, flooring for all areas, and tile work throughout. One94 is extremely professional, transparent, and one of the best contractors we have ever had the pleasure to work with. I urge you to engage them with your project, you will not be anything but satisfied.

Spencer was prompt on making initial contact once I posted on HomeStars. Within 2 weeks he made himself available for the tile project.
The resulting tile work was excellent and I remain very pleased. Spencer showed up on time on both days and was courteous, respectful and kept a clean working area. Highly recommended.

I called for an estimate he came promptly. He applied for the permit and started and finished intime ,he did a very fine job.

I left a previous positive review that I am rescinding. Those reviews that state that Spencer leaves the work site clean are wrong. My second job with Spencer was basic tile work for which he left the job site a mess with mortar on the faucets, dirt on the floor, didn't even use a drop cloth for one room and God knows if he would have used one over the wet bar (my wife laid one down as she saw he was not using one and we just installed a $2K counter). The basement is new including the floor but not once did Spencer ask or remove his shoes. Cut out for the electrical was inaccurate and I occupied my Sunday fixing it. I guess this is just par for the course in the GTA as there is much too much work and not enough qualified trades or contractors. Won't be doing any renos for the near future as this town is a wreak with incompetence. If you can't do it yourself - don't bother.

Spencer did a wonderful with our ledgestone fireplace surround when my contractor couldn't find a qualified trade person.

I would highly recommend Spencer and will call upon him for any future work.
