This company came into my home with an air hose and that's it..I am vulnerable, just lost my husband and was totally taken for almost $1000.00...two men came, one with the air hose and he went to the basement...the other guy told me they found mould in my outake vent and that the air quality was poor..also said air coil was clogged up ...I have 3 little grandchildren that come to the house and these guys totally sucked me in...I had a mechanical engineer come over that and he said no mould , dust still in the vents and that I had been taken advantage of..I have tried to get I touch with the company, they now have my number blocked...I am filing a Complant with the better business Bureau and hoping for resolution. ..Do Not Hire This company..

Air duct cleaning". Used coupon on moneysaver brochure thought it was legit. Holy nope. Upsold me on fogging for mold. I HAVE KIDS AND I CALLED DUCT CLEANING FOR MY KIDS ALLERGIES. I just finished renovations. How can you take money from hard working people and ones that love their family.

These people prey on that.

One guy was distracting me making small talk. Opens up conversation about kids. We all love talking about our kids. Distracting you Asking for a pen when you start looking at the guy spraying air in the vents. Sign my address here and let me call my boss to see if I can do that deal because you have kids in the house.

Don't go down there their is fogging chemicals the smell is bad. So do you and your kids I would recommend you to not go down for 3 hours turn off your furnace. "Do you have anything to get down there before we fog." Thinking back these are sly tactics to distract you from knowing anything and prevent you from going down. This Guy just makes stuff up wife is a 911 operator and tells you fake stories.

After going out with my kids for 3 hrs come back go down and check. They did nothing! I was furious. This other guy was probably playing fortnite on his phone and spraying stink while wearing a mask. My credit card says "breathe pure air". Check out pictures

Called these people asap and got answering machine and left messages. Pretend to be a new customer message you will get someone asap. Told them to come see you did nothing and to get my money back. Answer " we are scheduling department we don't contact ......" Blah blah blah. The run around. Don't trust any coupons. Money saver brochure in your mail just snap a pic send them out and WARN your family and friends.

Don't be embarrassed they prey on your emotions and embarrassing feeling to not talk to others about it. WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW. SOMEONE IS BEING screwed IF YOU DONT. TELL SOMEONE ABOUT THIS I took my kids to eat at ikea and pick furniture for their rooms. That took 3 hours and more if you have younger ones. Have some ice cream thinking it would be a happy ending. Go call +1 888-495-8501 better business bureau file a complaint. +1 416-326-8800 customer protection Ontario. It will take a while waiting for someone but DO IT or these people will just do someone close to you. I called them and the police have better things to do. THESE PEOPLE PREY ON YOUR SILENCE. And they have system in place to give investigation the run around too. I did something about it. Are you?

2 people came at 9:00 am and finished not even 45 minutes to do the work and they charged us benefactor fogging for $549 + tax..is this reasonable and my experience for this service is ridiculous. They asked my husband not to come down in the basement because they sprayed something for the molds and my husband asked them if he can see it but they do not want him to go down at the basement because of the spray and they insisted us to go out of the house for 4 hours. When we check our ducts still a lot of dust and they did not do the dryer vent that supposed included in the deal. Very disappointed.

We called Breath Pure Air Air Duct Cleaning 9416-868-4515, 905-820-7335, 1-800-943-3828, 647-278-5066) after seeing their ad in MoneySaver.ca and set an appointment for Sept. 26, 2018. 2 men came. One went upstairs while other went downstairs. Then told us go downstairs where I was shown the furnace. He told me there was mold from the builders' urine and we need to have benefeet fogging and AC coil cleaning. When we asked how much it will be he said he worked for Sears and it was $2400 this company can do it $870. He said we can do it now or later but we have to do air duct cleaning again. He scared us with mold. How foolish we were!!! So, we agreed. The guy who stayed with us was very talkative. His name Lukas Waida, but I am not even sure if it is his real name. He told us his whole life story, again not sure if it was true. They did not allow us to go to the basement saying that air is not good for breathing and we cannot use our furnace and AC for at least 24 hours. Every thing was done in less then 30 min. When next day I went downstairs I immediately understood that we were fooled. They did not open anything all screws and duct tape we put for insulation were there untouched. I look inside of duct and there were no signs of fogging (I googled how it looks after duct fogging). I wish we read all reviews before we called them. As you can see it is always the same story. Now I am trying to get some refund but it looks like there is nothing you can do.
DO NOT USE THEIR "SERVICE"!!!!!!!! They keep changing their name. It is now Pure Air duct cleaning but when they charged credit card bill showed Breath pure air!!!!!

Called Breath Pure Air Air Duct Cleaning after seeing their ad in MoneySaver.ca. Set appointment for March 14, 2018. 2 men came. One stayed in kitchen talked with us while other went downstairs. Then told go downstairs where we were shown the furnace. Was told there was mold and would need to have benefct fogging costing $489, then clean coil evaporator for $349, plus advertised cost of $139. Total would be $977 plus tax of 124.00 for total of $1101. but could get better price if we paid cash $900.00 which we paid. Was not happy next day when the ducts were looked by at us. This time took 1 1/2 hours in total. Called to 800-943-3828 left messages 8 times which after several days finally got call back. Spoke to Customer service . They would get back to us later. No response until I sent emails in May. Then June 19 received email to call service manager and see what they can do. So left messages for one week. They got back to us after I sent them a copy of the invoice with their name on it but no amount was filled in. July 8, 2018 They told us they didn't recognize the invoice and their service man of 15 years is in Cambridge and Kitchener and we were told our name is not in their system. We were told companies go round pretending they are representing companies which they really are not. (The truck came to our house and now wish I had taken down the license plate number which I will do in the future. The man upstairs must have seen the words "SUCKER' ON OUR FORHEADS. Then we notice another ad but this time it was called Cambridge Pure Air Air Duct Cleaning. With same phone number as previous advertisement. Imagine paying $600.00 per hour for the duct cleaning. No product was used. Only sucking dirt.

I feel really foolish, I have been over charged by a supplier who came to my house.
On 3/31/18 I had a Breathe Pure Air Inc (as per their invoice) duct cleaning come in to clean my house ducts but they ended up cleaning my wallet.
As the story goes they had an advertisement for duct cleaning (Cambridge Pure Air, Air Duct Cleaning) in the Money Save Magazine which my wife called and employed them. They came to the door and my wife explained that I had a disability and would not be able to come down the stairs. She proceeded to show the ducts and the furnace. They then prepared to start and I questioned why they were not cleaning the furnace. They said it wasn’t in the price and after I argued briefly I agreed to carry on getting the ducts cleaned. The leader (Jason) of the 2 men said they would check the furnace and make any recommendations.
Shortly after going down stairs he come back up to me to state that the previous guys we had do the duct cleaning damaged the fins on the ac coil. I said I was going to go down to see when he quickly said he put the cover back on so I couldn’t see it. He started bragging how he was a certified gas fitter to work on furnaces and he told me how outdated my equipment was but it would last another 5 years. I asked him what it would cost to repair the coil and he said he would have to call the office for a quote. He went away and came back in a couple of minutes to tell me it would be $419 on top of the $139 for ducts. I told him I would get a new coil for that and he said it wouldn’t be allowed because the law changed and they can’t use these coils any more. He said I would have to replace my whole ac unit. He scared me to the point that I agreed to have him fix my coil. He said he would have to take it out of the furnace and straighten the fins and that was why so much money.
He came back to me in 15 min and said all done. Not thinking anything about that, I paid him and they left. After thinking about it for a while I started wondering how he fixed the coil in a half hour.
When my wife came home she helped me go down stairs to check their work. They did not do anything to the coil. I JUST DISHED OUT $419 FOR NOTHING. How crooked can people be.
I am losing trust in people and the service industry any more.
I Placed a call to them and complained they said someone would get me back. That never happened..
On Tuesday 4/3/18 I called again and finally got a person called Wayne who said he was a manager. I explained my story as above and he said he would call me back after he talked to Jason.
He called me back again and said he had Jason on the line, but when I said hi Jason no response. He ask me how I knew he didn’t take the coil out. I told him the covers were not removed because the silicone was not disturbed and none of the lines were disturbed. He said there is enough flex pipe inside to pull the coil out to clean it. This is absolutely wrong as the use of flex pipe is illegal on air conditioning.
I said to him I wanted my $419 back and he then said he was going to compromise but because I said that no way he was going to deal with me now. I said what kind of compromise and he again said he didn’t want to deal with me. I then said ok goodbye. He called me back to give a phone number for legal proceedings.
I was going to take them to small claims but I will have to much difficulty doing this because of my disability, so I have to abandon that idea. ALL I CAN DO IS TO WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THIS COMPANY I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM !!!!!

I have found air duct cleaning to be useless. This is only the second time I have ever had air ducts cleaned in my home, both times after renovation work. The work recently performed by Breathe Pure Air Inc. did absolutely nothing to change the level of dust coming through the air ducts. The only thing they managed to do was blow drywall dust all over my home. I had more cleaning to do after they left and drywall dust continued to blow out of the air ducts for many months after their supposed cleaning. Their vacuuming and air blowing did nothing to clean the air ducts. I will never again bother to have duct cleaning done in my home but if you must DO NOT use this company. A waste of time and money.

I have read previous reviews regarding this company and the reviews are horrible. I have just had my ducts cleaned less than an hour ago and I have to tell you I was very pleased. They were thorough answered all my questions and concerns. I too asked about the camera system and they told me their camera system doesn't take photo but you can see the ducts from the camera they use in the basement. Two techs showed up a male and a female they were right on time to the minute. The male took me to every duct and return and showed me the inside and asked if it was to my liking. He took me to the basement and showed me everything downstairs. The brushing that is advertised is only used in the main duct System in the basement, that is the type of equipment they have, they explained to me why it isn't used in every vent and the reason why they do not do it. I too have used other services and everyone has different machines and systems. I usually asked all my questions before they start that way there is no
disappointments. They also blew my central vac system volunterly, unfortunately they couldn't do my dryer vent as it is on the top floor and they would need to use a ladder outside to access it. They did not try and sell me other features or services, they only suggested was for me to in the next year or so, to clean the furnace coils for additional maintence if I wanted. That was it! I am so glad that I used this company, and I feel bad for the previous posters that had such a bad experience. Sometimes it's the techs that give the company a bad name. I can't remember the male techs name but the female was Samatha. I to had the coupon that they advertise in the money savers flyer.

This company charged a lot for work that was never done. The ducts and air coil were not cleaned. My wife and I were told not to go into the basement because the air was "poisonous" so we could not see what was done.

After reading this review, the company initially claimed that I was not the person who had paid for their services, and when I forwarded my invoices to Homestars for verification, the duct cleaning company then erased their contact name and phone number from Homestars.

They are now claiming it is not the right company, as you can see from their response, but even other reviews had the same issue, but they company hasn't objected to those. I wish I had read their reviews months ago! These people were called by my Aunt and Uncle to clean our ducts, for an advertised special in one of the Flyers sent in the mail, for $128.95.

The company came and hooked up, but did not show them a snake camera image, nor did they block off any vents for auction.

They told them that their Evaporator Coil needed cleaning, for $349.95, but could do it for $249.95 because they were there doing the ducts, and the same for a Berefeet Rotary Brush, which cost $619.95, but could be done for $499.95 as they were already at the house.

All the company did was pass through a little bristled brush, and spray some scented fluid, and charged them a total of $990.00!

Hopefully they are able to recoup some of these outrageous charges, as they are seniors living on Canada Pension.

Please be very careful when dealing with this company!
