Real Estate Movers

I started shopping around for a long distance moving company as soon as I listed my townhouse in Calgary (Nov 2018). Victor came to my home, had a look around and provided a flat rate quote for my pending move to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. The other companies provided estimates based on weight with complicated additional costs for: "shuttling" my belongings from a smaller truck to the transport, moving out of, or in to homes with more than x number of stairs, possible shuttle at the destination etc etc. Just the ease of understanding what it was going to cost me was almost enough for me to chose Real Estate Movers. Once I did sell my home 7 months later I reached out to each company again and Victor honored the original quote while the others quoted up to 25% more due to my move now being in "high season". My move had several challenging aspects however Victor's calm and reassuring demeanor made me feel a lot less anxious. During the time that he was crossing the country he kept me informed as to where he was and he and his partner arrived when expected. They unloaded everything with care into the storage locker. After several months I moved my belongings into my new house. That is when I discovered a drawer missing and the glass of one picture broke. I provided Victor with photos and details and without hesitation he fairly compensated me. Moving is so stressful, especially a long distance one and we've all read about people who have had horrendous experiences. I can honestly say that Victor delivers what he promises and I wouldn't hesitate to use Real Estate Movers again.
