We very much appreciated your safety protocols that your workers practiced during the 4 days that they were here removing the old roof and installing the new one.

You were very professional, reliable, honest and went the extra mile to discuss any questions or additions that we requested during the construction process.

Di certainly appreciated the protection that was installed to protect all our landscaping that was located around the perimeter of our home. When the roof was completed everything looked just as it was before you arrived with nothing broken or damaged and you did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. I appreciated that you made sure that our travel trailer was safely covered so that there was absolutely no damage to it during the construction process.

At the end of the job you personally did the final cleanup and made sure that we were happy with everything before you left. We thank you.

This the almost finished roofing replacement for this complex and it is all done quickly and professionally and with the least discomfort for the owners. This company is terrific.

Had some roof damage, Derek showed quickly and fixed it with great attention to detail.
Removed some shingles and checked the roof structure, replaced the parts that were broken, explained what he did in detail.

I was looking for a roofer to replace my cedar shingle roof with asphalt shingle roof and the replacement of one of my Velux skylight. I went to HomeStars and found Accountable Roofing Services. After I initiated a re-roof service request , in the same day, Derek who is the owner replied to my request that he’s available to take on the job. The next day, he called and came visit to do the estimate. Two days later, he told me that the quotation is ready and I’m quite impressed that he could put everything together so quickly. When Derek came to present the quotation, he spent almost an hour explaining every single detail of the quotation and it’s very helpful. One thing I want to emphasize is the format of Derek’s quotation sheet. It is a checklist that has pretty much all activities that you can ever think of in a roofing job. And all Derek has to do is to check off which one will take part in your particular job and I think that’s really smart. Because of that, Derek’s quote turned out to be the one that had the most details of what were to be included comparing to all other quotes I received. When the job started, Derek was here supervising his crew basically all day everyday. At the end of the day, the crew would clean the place up and Derek was always the last person to leave making sure that things were left neat and tidy. When the job was all finished, he came back personally the next day to do a thorough inspection of the whole job including final cleaning. He will then check with you to see if there’s anything that still needs to be done. Derek is also an easy going person. The reason I said that was the skylight replacement turned out to be more complicated than a straight remove and install. Extra work was involved to get the job done but Derek didn’t charge me any extra money for that. He certainly goes out of his way to make sure his customer is happy. After all, the job was done professionally. Price wise, he’s neither the highest nor the lowest bidder but his price is very reasonable. And after comparing the details of all included work among all bidders, you’ll probably end up getting the most value for your money with Derek.

I discovered the damage. I am a senior with gout. I notice Derek and his crew working 3 houses down. I hobbled up and asked him if he would help me and come fix some minor damage. He agreed to a price, work unseen. Five minutes later he was on the roof. The damage turned out to be more than we discussed. Derek patiently and professionally repaired the damage and added some extra fixes to meet his own personal standards. He never asked for more money but I happily paid him extra for all the extra work he encountered. I would recommend him to anyone.

Derek and his crew recently completed our roof replacement. It was a cedar to asphalt conversion with steep pitches, complex areas, skylight replacements, and extensive flashing repairs at the chimneys.

I had initially contacted Derek over a year ago to quote on the job. He walked us through everything and was patient while we tried to find a shingle that would work with our stone veneer. He even arranged to bring in some special-order samples. He came by several times and was always available to answer our many questions.

He always let us know when he would arrive and showed up when he said he would. That was a nice change from so many others that show up late or not at all.

Once we were ready to move forward, everything happened exactly how and when Derek said it would. We always felt that we were being taken care of. He even arranged the stucco repairs needed to correct the flashing issues.

He is very detail oriented and went above and beyond to make things look great. He cloned all the step and wall flashing. He replaced or repaired and painted all the vents and pipes. So many jobs you see have a nice new roof but you can see the old flashing. When Derek was done, absolutely everything looked new.

We are so pleased with the end result and feel secure knowing that everything has been done the right way. We would not hesitate to recommend Accountable Roofing to anyone and everyone.

After reading many positive reviews on the website we asked for an estimate from Accountable roofing. We also received estimates from 3 other companies. (Not all roofing companies do torch on roofing) Derek responded in a very timely manner & we immediately noticed his professionalism and attention to detail as he inspected our roof. Cost was very reasonable in comparison with the other estimates we received. The workers were friendly, tidy and professional as well. Once again Derek, of Accountable roofing has exceeded expectations. E had a company come out to install a leaf filtration system and fix any leaks in the gutters. The gutter guys came out five times and didn’t manage to solve the problem. We remembered how pleased we were with the work that Derek had done a few years ago when he put up a new roof on a previous house. We hoped that he could suggest a solution.

Derek scrambled up his ladder and immediately identified the problem and suggested a solution. He also checked the vent pipes and recommended they be replaced because they were crumbling and were endanger of letting water into the attic.

We gave him the go ahead and he did it the same afternoon. Derek is most particular in his workmanship. A true Craftsman you can rely on.

I called Derek from an ad online and was impressed with his knowledge and honest opinion. He visited the job site, took some photos and measurements and provided a reasonable quote the next day (Friday). On Monday he was at my place with all materials and had the job done in one day. He did a few little extras while he was up there that could have become a problem in the future.
I’m impressed and happy with the repairs. It looks great and I would gladly recommend his work.
