o simply say working with Ace of Space Interiors deserves a 5/5 on our major renovation project would be an understatement to the depth and breadth of their commitment, knowledge, and experience to help you transform your old space into something that reflects your wants and needs. They will take care of you to make sure you will love your home as much as they do working on it. :-)

They helped us transform the whole inside of our old home into this amazing beautiful space (through the first year of the pandemic) that maximizes the existing space, minimizes any odd corners/walls/bulkheads, and help us build the foundational behind-the-walls elements of the house to be up-to-code and long-lasting.

1. Honesty and Integrity

Troy and Rotem will work with you to build that relationship of trust in their process. They will keep you updated with all the good, bad, and ugly that can happen during a home renovation. Renovating a home is never a perfectly smooth activity but to have someone work with you earnestly to solve problems as they arise makes you feel in good hands. They will work to solve the root of the problem rather then just superficially cover it up.

We asked them both a lot of questions pre, during, and post renovation about their process, insurance, contract agreement, budget, allowances, design layout, finishes, issues, etc. They were always willing to share with us what they know and find answers to what they were not familiar with.

2. Finances, Budgeting, Transparency

Troy and Rotem used their deep wealth of renovating financial experience to help us define a reasonable budget for the scope of work on the outset and identifying earlier potential areas of risk for our home renovation for defining our contingency fund. They were happy to share the details about the hardware and finishes allowances in the agreement upon request. This really helped us build an understanding of where the baseline for our home was and how to budget for those upgrades early so there wasn’t an extreme financial crunch during the renovation. They were also very clear on what was an upgrade and what was included

Ace of Space kept us on budget throughout the process and had some great ideas for upgrades that would add so much quality of life value to your home. We agreed with their suggestion of a skylight in our brand new principal bathroom and it has been an absolute joy to have sun streaming in during the day time. They also are happy to extend any of their discounts with suppliers to help make your dollar stretch just that much more or have ideas that give you what you want for a reasonable extra cost.

3. Communication and Hands-On Workmanship

Troy and Rotem were excellent at keeping us updated about the state of progress of our home renovation process. They were quick to response to questions through mobile text and calls. They were always ready with solutions when speaking to us about a problem. They would send progress photos when big milestones were reached to celebrate and kept us in the loop about the next steps. Another point I want to make is that Ace of Space are happy to share their knowledge with you about the renovation process so you can get to know your home more intimately to take care of maintenance or react to emergencies when needed.

How do I lay out my appliances?

This brings me to my second point about working with Ace of Space. They are on-site every day and dedicated to your home renovation project during the times when it requires the heaviest lifting. They are not juggling multiple projects at once; they are present and focused on yours. They are at the site working with their team and trades being part of that process which really showed us their dedication to own the process from start to finish and treat it like they were renovating their own home. The workmanship on the interior and exterior is high and they do not cut corners on even the smallest of tasks.

4. Holistic Renovation Experience

We loved that Ace of Space Interiors is a husband and wife team. Rotem is the project manager and design expert while Troy is the general contractor that leads the coordination, logistics, and work on site. We liked that there is near-instant feedback and discussion on whether design ideas would work or how layout might need to accommodate structural requirements of the renovation. It kept the idle time on the project at a minimum while waiting for answers from the design or construction aspect of the project.

They help you think about the big vision for your home from the guts of the home (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc) and the visual finishes around the home (flooring, tiles, lighting, countertops, etc).

We are extremely happy that we put our trust in Ace of Space Interiors to turn our house into a home. We have had friends who have seen the final results and have asked to make the introduction to them for their impending renovation projects as well.

Working with Rotem and Ace of Space was an absolute pleasure. Rotem has an amazing eye for detail, and her design incorporated form and function every time. Design is one thing, and daily we say we are so pleased how it all turned out. Rotem helped us keep on budget, and always found great options so we did not have to sacrifice on design because of costs. If you have stumbled upon Ace of Space in your search, do yourself a favour and stop looking. Sounds silly but I assure you, they will do an amazing job for you and on budget.

We remodeled our entire house in and out, and have no hesitation in recommending Rotem and Ace of Space.

Our home desperately needed a basement reno. We lacked space, functionality, storage and, well, ambiance. It was basically an old, plain, ugly partially finished basement that no one was proud of, or wanted to be in - least of all me. I knew that Rotem & Troy were right for the job at our very first meeting. They completely understood what I was looking for and were right on it with the design concept.

They managed this remodel from start to finish. I felt totally confident with Rotem's designs and solutions - she really is an Ace of Space! The work was meticulously executed with thoughtful design and attention to detail. They took care to make sure that the work was done perfectly.

I am so pleased with our new basement. They have created so many functional spaces in what I had thought was a small area! We have an office, a spacious family room, laundry room, storage and a STUNNING new bathroom! Nothing feels cramped and best of all, all four of us can use and enjoy our basement for years to come!

I had the challenge of transforming a home living room into a home office, and these professionals at Ace of Space gave me excellent guidance, decorating tips, and showed me how to take ideas and turn them into reality. I am so pleased with the outcome, and so are my clients!

When we decided to do a full gut out to renovate our kitchen we knew it would not be an easy task.
We interviewed several companies, one of them being "Ace of Space". We met Rotem from Ace of Space and we instantly felt at ease. Rotem and Troy General Contractor, provided a full team of professional trades people, who like what they do. They took their time understanding what our needs were, sharing our vision for a beautiful kitchen space. Rotem and Troy kept us up to speed during the entire renovation process, easy to communicate with and never left any questions or concerns unanswered. Along with renovating Rotem assisted in sourcing out appliances and furniture, again making this process easier than I anticipated. In addition to the kitchen Renovation, Ace of Space added a touch of class to our bathrooms/powder room (4 in total) one of them a full gut out. They painted the bedrooms, and overlooked the installation of our new windows and sliding doors. The entire project was completed on time and within our budget. We even managed to add a few extra things last minute small projects.
We have one of the most beautiful functional kitchens, every square inch was thought out, it has a great vibe and good flow.

We highly recommend "Ace of Space" without question we will call Rotem again for any future projects.

I used Ace of Space Interiors to renovate our upstairs bathroom and I can’t wait to hire them again for our next project. It all started with the Designer, Rotem, who came to our house and literally blew me away with her ability to transform the room by optimizing every inch of space, and ultimately coming up with something I could never have envisioned. Then a carefully thought out budget was presented, along with a reasonable timeline. Rotem and I worked closely in the first few days so that she could get a sense of what I would like design wise, which gave me peace of mind. But ultimately, Rotem knows her stuff and knows what will work and what won’t and isn’t afraid to tell you! The construction team, headed by Troy, worked quickly and were very thoughtful of the carpet and other spaces, laying down drop cloths and vacuuming up at the end of each work day. The project was completed on budget, and on time…and the bathroom looks like something out of a magazine!! I could not be more pleased with this entire team…from start to finish they were amazing, and lovely people to work with as well. I am so happy I made the decision to go with Ace of Space, and now I have the most beautiful bathroom!
