We bought a one year old home in the Hamilton area, during inspection we were told that one of the joist in the basement was cracked but that it wasn’t major as it could be easily fixed by sistering the joist. After calling a number of contractors and been turned away as our project was not worth their time, we found Collin. He came and explained to us what was involved in the process in much detail. We decided to contract his services and couldn’t be happier with his work, he was detailed oriented and patient to answer our questions. He and his crew fixed the joist and helped us with some plumbing work as well ( fridge water line install, replacing two toilets )all done just in a couple of hours. Collin takes pride in his work which is very hard to find these days. He treated our home just like if he would have treated his own. Usually contractors make a mess and leave it to the home owner to clean afterwards, Collin even took the time to clean the work area and get rid of any debris left over after the work was done.

We also found the cost to be very reasonable compared to the work quality and other quotes we got.

We definitely would hire Collin’s services again and recommend his work to anyone looking for an honest contractor who deliver high quality work with a client-focused mindset.

Collin renovated the whole upstairs bathroom which included removing the existing bath & shower, installing new bath, fixtures, custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, tiles, trim, electrical, flooring and painting. Excellent workmanship on design, finishing and scheduling the subs. Kept the work area safe and tidy. SIMCON provided reliable, personable service at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

I used Simcon Home Improvements to install my new floor in my living room and on my stairs. There was a tight deadline as I was selling my house and the job got done extremely fast. Collin was polite, professional and provided suggestions that made the floor look much better. I used him also for some minor repairs and finishing touches on the back splash in the kitchen and back patio stones. I received great feedback from my realtor and the house sold quick! Our decision to have SIMCON finish our basement proved to be an excellent choice. A once unusable space has been transformed into a comfortable, attractive, functional family area!
