I find this type of project to be very stressful as it requires significant expertise (you're dealing with the structural integrity of your house and the well-being of your family). Holden and his crew did an amazing job as they're not only very experienced and knowledgeable from the technical standpoint, but they're also amazing at customer service. They really went above and beyond in every aspect. The job encountered some challenges and those were dealt with resourcefulness and professionalism; they were very careful and clean all the time and were great at communicating with us. Nothing but excellent words to say about Larcon Structural, highly recommend.

Removed existing load bearing wall.
Supplied and installed new structural steel beam including two welded steel posts, one of which required a new footing to be dug out in the basement, reinforced with rebar and new concrete poured.
Holden and his team are professional, extremely knowledgeable and completed the project on time on budget. The site was clean, they took care of city inspections and were a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to homeowners and general contractors.

His team also replaced a structural wood beam on another site of mine that was rotting from years of neglect. Yet again they were in and out as discussed allowing the job to continue with no delays.

I would recommend Larcon Structural to anyone. This is the second time I have had them work on my house and they do great work. Their work is excellent and their attention to details really helps - especially if you are renovating a 100-year-old house like mine. I cannot get over how they moved LVLs like they were 2x4s in my window and created my new ceiling in 3 days on top of maneuvering around the rafters of my flat roof. Their work we leave you in awe - like my project the eight wonder of the world.

Holden and his team removed a load bearing wall in our 1968 home. Him and his team did an incredible job. They were fast, communicated throughout the whole process, and kept a very clean job site for the two days that they were here.

Even though the estimate was a tad higher than other quotes that we got, it was 100% worth it for the peace of mind and great experience.
