Marshall's Custom Cabinetry and Millwork

The Owner of Marshall Cabinetry installed my kitchen. It was a horrible experience from start to finish. He is extremely difficult to deal with and even harder to get a hold of.

PLEASE BE FOREWARNED: the manufacturer he deals with is out of Quebec, so make sure u ask him where he is sourcing his kitchens from, as one little mistake could set you back many weeks, as it did us, on more than one occasion!

It was an absolute nightmare for us as we lived in our basement. Everything from wrong measurements, to missing pieces including important gables and entire cabinets), to completely wrong colour cabinet doors, to fugly hinges, to attempts at trying to get us to settle for less due to his mistakes, to agreeing on moving an e-cargo system and then not doing it because he was too busy and stated that he could not take on any new jobs (this was clearly not a new job), to taking weeks to reply to emails / phone calls, to not wanting to own or pay for HIS mistakes and compensate us due to extreme delays ( missing pieces took 6 weeks+ to receive and one single piece that arrived a few inches short took an additional 4 weeks to receive), to receiving scratched cabinetry on our island that did not arrive with bottom skirts (glue coming out at the seams too), to over sprayed areas with drip marks, to overall poor quality cabinetry, to taking his time poorly painting late missing pieces (talk about adding insult to injury), to cocky email responses.... The kitchen took 16 weeks to be 100% completed due to delays when we were advised it would take 6 weeks.

If it wasn't for our reno company going the extra mile to make us happy, we would have absolutely taken Marshall Cabinetry to small claims court.

I'm not surprised that he currently has a 1.8 star Google rating.

Please, please, please, IF u value your sanity, go with someone else! A man that sells his own name short is not one to be trusted!

I found Marshall's Cabinetry online, it was lucky I liked the name. Brian was happy to meet with me to discuss a small custom vanity. He was excellent to work with and helped me to find the right material. His work was great and his turn around was very fast. He made the vanity to my exact specifications and the contractor had no issues installing the vanity. I would happily involve Marshall's Cabinetry in my next project.
