Bathroom renovations

I hired Fix It Females to complete a bathroom renovation that we started, the work was completed within a reasonable timeframe, it was done professionally with great attention to detail.
Annastasia had great input in regards to what should be done to make the finishes in the bathroom look great.
The renovation work consisted of removing existing floor and putting a new floor with tiles and baseboards, heated floor was also installed.
They also repaired an existing wall that was not in great shape.
All in all, I had a great experience with the team, and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Jobs around the condo

First time using this company and all I can say, I wish I found them earlier. Mireya was professional, on time and cleaned up after her work. She did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend using their services.

Kitchen floor replacement

We hired Fixit Females to remove a cork floor in a small kitchen, repair the subfloor, and install new luxury vinyl. The communication was excellent. The job took just as long as they said it would; they were punctual, and the work was outstanding. We are so pleased with the transformation. And they kept the work site clean and the dust to a minimum. I would hire them again.

Proud to support these wonderful ladies!

We originally contacted Annastacia for some repairs but after hearing her advice and professional opinion for our kitchen redesign we went with her for the whole project. The team were all super kind and respectful of our home and did an excellent and professional job. Im happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a renovation and also to support women in the trades!

We hired the Fixit Females to rebuild the main staircase in our 115 year old home. Rickety, squeaky and wobbling.
Fixit sent Amanda out to do the work. What a Pro!

I work highly recommend this outfit.

was hopeful

Was hopeful... appointment to review work was timely and very positive. We were thrilled that this might be the company that we'd be working with but after being told we would get a quote by the end of the week we've been ghosted and have heard nothing even after multiple followups directly and through social media. I get that that sometimes work isn't doable within the realm of the companies big picture but please just say so....

Bathroom Renovation Nightmare

I would not recommend this company to anyone! Absolutely the worst. Annastacia is the least professional contractor I've ever dealt with. Shame on you.

We had them re-do a bathroom in our house and here's what happened:

- Their team flooded our bathroom, causing a leak in the ceiling in the room below
- They did not place muck under the tub when replacing it, causing it to sag in the middle (eventually they did fix this, and had to cut a hole in an adjacent wall to do so)
- Claimed they vented out bathroom, when really they just vented the air into our ceiling!
- We finally got them to vent the bathroom after much insistence, but they used the wrong kind of vent (picture attached - that is a flat roof). We had a roofer take a look at the photo shown and he had never seen anything like that, was just shocked.
- The incorrect vent cause MORE LEAKING to occur - this time from rain & snow (the second photo is a bubble of water in our bathroom wall)
- I've since emailed Annastacia to ask her to pay for the repairs, surprise, surprise, she never emailed back!

I understand mistakes can occur on any job, but if you cannot own up to them, then you have you should not be allowed to operate a business.

Bathroom and kitchen renovation

I hired fixitfemales to renovate my kitchen and bathroom. The renovation happened during the Covid pandemic and I moved out during the work.

-The job took nearly 4 months to complete (double the quoted time)

-there were many days when no work was done on my project.

-I handled all of the tarping and taping to protect my belongings, but when the tape failed there was no attempt by fixitfemales to re-tape the drop cloths.

- My home was left very messy/dirty. They didn't clean any of it up. Moving back in took multiple days of cleaning work to remove drywall dust, etc.

- There were errors in measurements and installation of components of the reno and I am now seeing sloppy work on the grouting and sealing.

I would never recommend this contractor to anyone and suggest anyone who chooses to use them to inspect the work very closely before signing off on completion.
