Mega Snow Removal

Terrible Company. Same reviews as everyone else, but I will still relay my experience. I hired him as I had undergone surgery and could not shovel this year. Prior to signing I met to confirm what would be cleared etc. He also said that he would not come till at least 5 cm; he said for the most part it was always more than 5 cm so not to worry. Being new to Toronto (from out West), I didn't know any better so believed him. Anyway, lo and behold we had quite a few snowfalls under 5 cm. All other contractors were out, except him. But I guess that was the policy. Those times it did snow more than 5 cm, he always showed up way after snow stopped, and was was packed down after being driven on (we can't stay at home waiting for him all day). All other companies would have already come and would be gone. When he did show up it would be very late at night; one time he came at 2 in the morning. He cleared it in less than 6o seconds and did a TERRIBLE job. Let a ton of snow and didn't even clear the pathway or stairs properly. I had to try and struggle to clear it and spread salt as my family would slip. This last snowfall he didn't show up more than 24 hours after. When I messaged him he had the audacity to say he wasn't paid. I had paid him right away in Nov and Dec and even got him to sign the contract as proof that it was paid in full. Anyway had to have a back and forth with him and send him proof of him cashing the cheque.

For major snowfalls all companies would come multiple times except him.

I also happened to come across an article which seemed to confirm others with a similar negative experience. Google his company name and the article is via York region.com.

Stay far away from this guy.

For this who are looking to submit a BBB complaint, you won't find his snow removal company there. Search by his phone number; he runs his business; this one is under that one . Both have terrible reviews.
