Why do furnaces quit on the coldest day ? I called Thermocare because of a previous positive experience with one of their technicians (Alan ) on an A/C problem. He sent someone when promised. The technician explained the problem which was endemic to the old Carrier/Payne units. Rather than fix, we chose to replace with an Amana unit with a 10 yr guarantee. They were quick, efficient, and very tidy, and the job was done professionally. I am a retired aircraft mechanic and I appreciate the quality and neatness of a job well done because I inspected as they went along.
