Ray Gunn, the owner of Gunn Crest came highly recommended to me by another contractor after the original contractor I had working on my home renovation abandoned the project in the middle of what is essentially a whole home renovation. I contacted Ray and told him of my plight. Despite being extremely busy I think Ray felt sorry for me and could see I was quite stressed out about the situation and agreed to finish the work on my two upstairs bathrooms plus a do a fair bit of drywall work on the main floor taking it to a paint ready state.
I found Ray to be very friendly, a good communicator and full of really great renovation ideas and suggestions - which I really appreciated. He is hard working, works impressively fast and is a conscientious tradesman who really wants you to be happy with your renovation project. I was very happy with the work he did for me and was totally blown away with the tile job he did for the soaker tub which definitely exceeded my expectations. Ray is a carpenter by trade but he can do just about anything you ask of him. If there is some particular type of work he can’t do he’ll tell you and call in one of his trades professionals who can – saving you the hassle of trying to find someone who can do the job. I found his quotes for the work he did to be quite reasonable and fair. I appreciated that he did a really good clean up job after the big drywall job was completed seeing I am still living in my house while all this work is going on. Overall, I have been very happy with Ray’s work and would highly recommend his services to anyone contemplating a renovation. As my whole home renovation still has a long way to go to final completion, I have every intention of inviting him back in my home to work on upcoming phases of the project.
